  • ExpressOUT
    • How can we create a stronger and more engaged ExpressOUT? What  can we do to change the typical Zoom meeting conversation.
    • Camrose has a lack of queer adult spaces, and even in Edmonton, many spaces are drinking focused.
    • Edmonton Pride Community has done an online film viewing.
    • Gus recommends Miquelon Lake hiking, which could happen in late September. We could get a hold of Wetaskiwin and Edmonton Pride Communities.

  • FALL
    • What activities, online or otherwise, are we planning?
      • Sticker Campaign?
      • iSMSS Assistance for Workshops?

  • CONVERSION THERAPY BAN IN CAMROSE
    • Beaumont, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Lethbridge, Edmonton, Calgary, and more have announced bans on Conversion Therapy.
    • Candy will do some research about the process in other communities.
    • Nikki will reach out to Mike with AltView to get an idea of how it started in other communities and how we can get started on it here.
    • We can write a formal letter to the city to be added to the agenda. It’s best if you can operate through an advocate on City Council (this is how we did the Pride Flag).
    • Lucas will contact Sherwood Park Diversity Committee.
    • Aurora Borin in Banff and Canmore is a speaker that we could contact as well.
    • We will move forward with this at the September meeting, which will start a fall campaign.

  • GOOGLE FORMS FEEDBACK
